What is CLIMBE?

CLIMBE is an Environmental Training and Research Center providing a variety of fun, informative, and enriching programs for individuals and groups, including:

  • Summer Expeditionary Science Trips for 7th-12th grade students (age 12-18): Multi-day, science-intensive, adventure trips in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

  • Year-round Custom Science Adventures for your K-12 private group: At your location or ours, we provide a unique environmental learning experience for your students.

All operations on National Forest System Lands are authorized under Special Use Permit by the Pisgah National Forest.
